He said that if testing is not being done in the state as much as it should be, then how will we know how many people are suffering from this disease. You cannot believe the data that is being told by the government because the number of tests that should be done are not being done.
Former Union Minister Sharad Yadav said that after the sudden lockout by the state government, no matter whether it was of Pradasi laborers or students was not handled efficiently. The quarantine centers which were also built did not provide necessary facilities. In this way, the state government has been quick to take steps for corona disease from the beginning, which is condemnable.
He said that the job of the government is to provide necessary facilities to the public life so that people can lead a happy life, but the Bihar government does not show any interest in it.
Sharad Yadav expressed surprise that even though the Bihar government had got plenty of time to prepare, it did not do any work to save the public from the disease. The Nitish government is not at all concerned about the public vote as if the public is in their hands. The state of Bihar has a population of 13 crores, 9-10 thousand tests are being done daily on it whereas in Delhi the total population is 2 crores and 20 thousand tests are being done here.
He said that it is a very serious matter that in spite of the NDA government at the center and the state, no concrete steps have been taken in any state to save the people from the disease. The situation in Bihar is getting worse day by day, but the government is not telling the right figures to the public, which is like working against the interest of the people even more because the public will not be as cautious as it should be.
Sharad Yadav said that I believe that the NDA government is failing on every front in Bihar. There should be a matter of general public interest, from law and order, security of women, sanitation, flood, jobs, education, providing health facilities, take up any matter, there is no way to give relief to the public and hence such There is no point in staying the government. For now, the state government should do a lot of testing and make more and more centers to cure the disease.
