That guest shared some details from the venue. “We have been requested not to reach out to the media. However, I can’t say no to you. It’s all going smoothly. The planning is almost perfect. Not too many guests and personal attention from the family to all. I can see Varun’s friends and I can also see people whom I don’t recognize. They must be from the bride’s side.”
The invitee gives full credit to Varun’s family especially his elder brother. “Rohit is looking after everyone so well. His Dad is being given an absolutely stress-free schedule. He (David Dhawan) doesn’t have anything to worry about. He just has to relax and enjoy his younger son’s wedding”
As for the bridegroom, the invitee says he’s super-excited. “Varun toh aise bhi har cheez main excited ho jata hai. Abhi toh jaise uski lottery lag gayee hai. Even by his excitable standards, I’ve never seen Varun so happy. He’s running around like a child, more like the bridegroom's kid brother than the bridegroom.”

When asked to name the star invitees the guest politely refused. “We’ve been requested not to talk about the names of the guests. Some of the guests are a surprise.” Like director Kunal Kohli? “Yeah. But it turns out he is Varun’s cousin. He is Varun’s mother’s sister’s son.”

By profession, Natasha is a fashion designer. She holds a degree in fashion designing from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York. Varun and Natasha are all set to tie the knot this weekend and wedding festivities have already begun in Alibaug. had reportedly planned to het married last year but were forced to postpone their wedding because of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
On Saturday, as per latest development, the actor arrived at the venue for his Sangeet ceremony. Apart from Varun and Natasha and their family members, filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, filmmaker Kunal Kohli with family, Varun's niece Anjini Dhawan, and fashion designer Manish Malhotra have also arrived at the venue. Many other celebrities are expected to be part of the wedding festivities during the weekend.
The Dhawans have blocked an entire resort facing the beach in Alibaug and are planning a grand yet restricted wedding ceremony. The wedding functions will extend over three days, on January 22, 23 and 24, with guests following the bio bubble protocol. The guests list includes immediate family members of the couple along with close friends and colleagues.
The wedding will take place at The Mansion House on January 24 followed by a reception on January 26.
Shah Rukh Khan is always known to be kind and considerate beyond the call of duty. It comes as no surprise to know that he has gone out of his way to accommodate Varun Dhawan’s wedding guest at his Alibaug residence.
Confirming this act of generosity a source tells me, “It’s nothing unusual or out of the way. SRK offers his Alibaug residence to all his friends who visit the holiday spot. Normally the place stays shut with only the caretakers around. So accommodating guests in the vast premise is easy.”The source also adds that Akshay Kumar is equally generous with his holiday home in Goa. I can vouch for this as Akshay had offered it to me as well.
It is not known if Varun’s guests will avail of SRK’s hospitality. For those who came in late, Shah Rukh and Varun go back a long way. Varun is an unabashed SRK fan and had agreed to play the relatively smaller role in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale only for SRK’s sake.
