Dissatisfaction in BJP over Scindia before the by-election Featured

  09 July 2020

Bhopal Bureau. Dissatisfaction with Jyotiraditya Scindia and his supporting former MLAs is deepening in the Bharatiya Janata Party before the by-elections in Madhya Pradesh.

It is being said that many BJP leaders are angry due to Jyotiraditya Scindia interfering with the portfolios of ministers and have made Chief Minister Shivraj aware of his displeasure.

If sources are to be believed, questions have started to be raised within the BJP about the former MLAs who are pro-Scindia ministers. It is being told that former ministers loyal to the BJP have also written a letter to the party high command expressing strong reservations over Scindia Samarth being made a minister without an MLA.

Many BJP MLAs who were ministers in the previous Shivraj government have expressed their displeasure over the fact that the pro-Scindia leaders have been made ministers despite not being MLAs even though they have been denied ministerial berths despite being MLAs.

If sources are to be believed, after the cabinet expansion, now Jyotiraditya Scindia is pressuring Chief Minister Shivraj Singh to give important portfolios to his supporting ministers for the division of departments.

According to sources, a faction of BJP loyalists is planning to meet top party leaders in Delhi soon and these MLAs have also sought an appointment with party president JP Nadda. On the other hand, the opposition of the BJP engaged in the preparation of the by-elections is continuously increasing in the state. The seats in the by-elections are being opposed by the BJP ministers who elected as MLAs on the Congress ticket in 2018.
