While every team and cricket fans’ excitements are growing up for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), everyone firstly wants to know the IPL 2021 date and complete fixtures along with venues.

On Friday, a total of 1097 players (814 Indian and 283 overseas players) completed their registration for the IPL 2021 auction. As per some reports, the IPL 2021 date is finalized.

The players’ retention window for every franchise for the IPL 2021 is already completed. Now, every franchise is waiting for the IPL 2021 auction, which Chennai will host on 18th February 2021. In this auction, franchises can buy additional players to fill up their squad. Apart from this auction, franchises can use the trading windows to stretch or shorten their players’ list for the IPL 2021.

The IPL 2021 date, schedule, venues and fixtures will be finalised soon. However, according to some media reports, the IPL 2021 is likely to begin in the second week of April 2021 and the final of the tournament can be organised in the first week of June 2021.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is trying their best to organise the complete IPL 2021 in India.

According to a recent Times of India report, Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), Brabourne Stadium (Mumbai), DY Patil Stadium (Navi Mumbai), and Reliance Cricket Stadium (Navi Mumbai) and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium (Pune) can host the league stage matches in the IPL 2021. The same report also claimed that newly-rebuild Sardar Patel Stadium or Motera Stadium (Ahmedabad) can host the playoffs of the IPL 2021.
