BAREILY: Citing "security reasons", the UP government in a late night move on Saturday shifted senior SP leader Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam Khan from Rampur district jail, where they were lodged, to Sitapur and Hardoi prisons respectively, reports Kanwardeep Singh.

In a video grab which was circulated on Sunday, Azam, while boarding the police vehicle, could be heard saying, "Humara encounter bhi ho sakta hai... Kuch bhi ho sakta hai (we may be killed in an encounter, anything can happen to us)."Additional SP (Rampur), Sansaar Singh, said, "The order to shift them came from the headquarters and we did the needful for the transit."
