Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi partnered with big businessmen and was ‘selling’ everything that belonged to the people.

The CWC also passed three resolutions at Friday's meeting – on the farmers' protests, Arnab Goswami's leaked WhatsApp chats and the COVID-19 vaccination drive.

It was hearing a plea filed by NCP leader Eknath Khadse to quash the summons issued in an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) registered by ED in October 2020

This became clear after the recent discovery that China had set up an entire village in Arunachal, to which the govt’s official response was laconic even as Union ministers indulged in whataboutery.

During their internal meeting, the farmers also asserted that they “will not go back to their homes until their demand to repeal the three contentious farm laws is accepted by the government”

'We want to know who among these people gave Arnab Goswami that information. Was it Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself? Or was it the home minister?'

Farmers have been protesting at the borders of Delhi since November 27 demanding a repeal of the three farm laws passed by the Parliament in September.

The transcripts are a part of the Mumbai Police charge-sheet on the ratings scam, in which Arnab Goswami's Republic TV and two other channels are accused of gaming TRPs

The country’s citizens cannot be stopped by constitutional institutions or police from celebrating Republic Day. We are not going to national capital to fight but to celebrate R Day, he said.

There are few ripples of shock or surprise at the embarrassing leak of WhatsApp chats of Arnab Goswami or the clumsy push for Covaxin or even at the Government’s indifference to farmers at the gate.
