Farmers from across the country have been protesting against the three farm laws passed by the BJP government for more than two months. It has been sixteen days since farmers from different states began to camp at various Delhi borders.
All India Kisan Sabha general secretary and senior farmer leader Hannan Mollah stressed that all the three laws are a death knell for the farmers. They only aid corporates such Reliance and Adani Groups, he underscored.
Mollah, a nine-time Lok Sabha MP from West Bengal, has led several agitations in support of farmers.
Mollah pointed out that whenever protests don’t go in the favour of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh attempts to paint the protestors as anti-nationals taking support of foreign countries. Here too they have said that the farmers have help from Pakistan and China.
