Tussle between Leaders increases after cabinet expansion, portfolio will be announced today Featured

  06 July 2020

Bhopal Bureau. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who has come to Delhi to solve the problem of ministers' departments in Delhi, can announce the portfolios of his ministers today.

During his stay in Delhi, Shivraj Singh also met top BJP leaders and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, including BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, LK Advani. If sources are to be believed, the screws regarding the portfolios of cabinet ministers have now come out and Shivraj Singh will announce the portfolios of ministers this evening.

Sources said that Jyotiraditya Scindia, who had come from Congress to BJP for cabinet expansion, had demanded before Chief Minister Shivraj that departments associated with common people should be given to his supporting MLAs. After which the decision to divide the portfolios of ministers was left to the party high command.

On the other hand, after the expansion of the cabinet, clouds of infighting are looming inside the party. With the inclusion of Scindia supporters in the cabinet, where many of BJP's loyal loyalists were left empty-handed, questions have now come up for representation at the regional level.

After the former pro-Scindia MLAs were made ministers, BJP's loyalists, who fought elections in these seats in 2018, hang their sword to cut the ticket in the by-election. Not only this, many former MLAs who are pro-Scindia are also angry with not getting the post of minister.

If sources are to be believed, after the cabinet expansion, the spark of internalism has erupted in the party and in the by-elections this spark can make it difficult for BJP by taking a big form.

Significantly, the Shivraj cabinet has been expanded to include 28 new ministers. After this, the number of ministers in the Shivraj cabinet has now increased to 33.

The new cabinet ministers include Gopal Bhargava, Vijay Shah, Jagdish Deora, Bisahu Lal Singh, Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Bhupendra Singh, Edal Singh Kanshana, Brijendra Pratap Singh, Vishwas Sarang, Imarti Devi, Praburam Chaudhary, Mahendra Singh Sisodia (Sanju Bhaiya), Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Prem Singh Patel, Omprakash Saklecha, Usha Thakur, Arvind Bhadoria, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hardeep Singh Dung and Rajwardhan Singh Premsingh Dattigaon.

The ministers of state include Bharat Singh Kushwaha, Inder Singh Parmar, Ram Lekhavan Patel, Ram Kishore Kanvere, Brijendra Singh Yadav, Girraj Dandautia, Suresh Dhakad and OPS Bhadauria.
