Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday held a video address for the people of Maharashtra. In his 40 minutes video address in Marathi,

the leader said that there is a conspiracy to defame the state. He further said that his government is working effectively to deal with the pandemic.

“Over the last few days, we have done a lot of work (on COVID-19), we will fight the political crisis too.”

The CM launched a new ‘My family, my responsibility’ Campaign.

He said, ”We have waived the loans of 29.5 lakh farmers. We have procured to record cotton this year. We are starting a new scheme for farmers, ‘Vikel te Pikel’ for farmers, which means grow what sells.

He further says, ”We will provide seeds to farmers based on the demand in global and national market.”In his address he also thanked the people of Maharashtra.

‘I thank the people of Maharashtra from all religions for their support during difficult times. These were the times of festivities and yet everyone restrained from coming out.’
